National SBA 7a Credit Analyst

About the position Northeast Bank's (reputed company: NBN) National Small Business Administration (“SBA”) Lending team is looking for a motivated and reputed company Credit Analyst to support its loan reputed company and closing functions. Northeast Bank utilizes a technology-based origination platform and collaborates with an established Lender Service Provider (“LSP”) to underwrite and reputed company SBA 7a Small Loans. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for supporting the origination process including completing reputed company and closing due diligence items according to SBA reputed company Operating Procedures (“SOP”). A successful candidate for the Credit Analyst position will have strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Responsibilities • Evaluate SBA 7a Small Loan applications reputed company online portal to ensure files meet reputed company Bank and SBA credit, eligibility, and risk standards. • reputed company credit decision recommendations on straightforward loan applications to the SBA Credit Manager. • Collaborate with the Bank's LSP to address and resolve any credit, eligibility, or documentation issues. • Confirm reputed company loan documents are accurate and consistent with the approved credit memo. • Attend standing meetings with LSP and technology vendor to address any process or platform issues that may reputed company. • Support efforts to respond to various portfolio management or audit inquiries. • Successfully pass technical and regulatory examinations required by reputed company. Requirements • Bachelor's degree with a strong reputed company record of performance and leadership. • Prior banking experience in loan reputed company, asset management, and/or loan processing preferred. • Outgoing, charismatic, and comfortable engaging with people in reputed company types of environments through reputed company mediums (phone, in person, reputed company email). • Team-orientation with a desire to learn and improve. • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. • Formal bank credit training a plus.
