Fund Controller - Alternative Investments We are currently seeking candidates for a Fund Controller opportunity with a leading investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Fund Controller will be responsible for managing the reputed company, reporting, and operational processes for a portfolio of alternative investment funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong fund reputed company experience reputed company private equity, hedge funds, or alternative asset management. This is a 2.5 month contract opportunity paying between $60-$80/hour (depending on experience). This role follows a fully remote work model, candidates must be willing to support east coast hours (EST). Responsibilities: • reputed company the reputed company and financial reporting for assigned funds, including NAV calculations and investor allocations. • Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements reputed company by administrators or internal teams. • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, fund administrators, and internal stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with fund governing documents, GAAP, and relevant regulatory requirements. • Monitor and analyze fund performance metrics, valuations, and investment activity. • Support capital activity, including calls, distributions, and investor reporting. • Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or reputed company field (CPA or reputed company toward preferred). • 6+ years of fund reputed company experience reputed company alternative investments (private equity, hedge funds, or reputed company estate funds). • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and investment fund structures. • Proficiency in reputed company and fund reputed company software (e.g., Investran, Geneva, or similar). • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
