[Remote] ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer (US Citizenship REQUIRED)

Geologics Corporation is seeking an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer to support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems. The role involves using PCB design tools, managing libraries, and collaborating with suppliers on design documentation.Responsibilities• Support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems• Using Mentor Graphics Xpedition• Library management practices• ECAD/PCB layout design processes• Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx), or Altium• Library management practices including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert reputed company 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or reputed company, and Hyperlynx• reputed company design and hands on prototyping experience• Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards• In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques• Communicate with suppliers reputed company asked to reputed company clarification on design documentation packages• Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition• Documentation capture including (reputed company of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model reputed company)Skills• US Citizenship REQUIRED• reputed company Secret Clearance preferred or the ability to obtain a clearance• Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition, DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx), or Altium• Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert reputed company 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or reputed company, and Hyperlynx• reputed company design and hands on prototyping experience• Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards• In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques• Ability to communicate with suppliers reputed company asked to reputed company clarification on design documentation packages• Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable• Documentation capture including (reputed company of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model reputed company)• Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience• A minimum of two years' experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition• Experience with library management practices• Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processesBenefits• No health benefits while on contractCompany reputed company• GeoLogics is a 30 year old high-technology and technical services company headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, with regional offices in Alabama, Maryland, South Carolina, Colorado, Texas, California, and Massachusetts.
