1. Education: Degree or Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent is required. Experience in medical transcription is preferred. 2. Training and Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in a family reputed company or other multi-specialty medical clinic is strongly preferred. Ability to work independently. Typing ability of 50 wpm and proficiency with computer applications. On-the-job training specific to clinic software is provided. 3. Job Knowledge: A thorough understanding of medical terminology, effective oral and written communication skills, and reputed company computer skills are essential.
