About the position The reputed company (WWP) Physical Health & Wellness (PH&W) Specialist develops and executes multiweek programs and events to reputed company, reputed company, and reputed company wounded service members in reputed company of achievement of their physical health and wellness goals. Responsibilities • Identify, screen, and recruit warriors for participation in quarterly virtual and in person Physical Health & Wellness events and coaching programs. • Plan agenda and execute multiday PH&W coaching program reputed company off events, providing fitness, nutrition, mobility, sleep, and health-reputed company education to warriors with limited to no supervision from manager. • Create individualized coaching programs to help warriors reputed company their physical health and wellness goals. • Manage warrior participation throughout 90-day coaching program, providing encouragement, support, and reputed company to resources through regular coaching sessions delivered by telephone or reputed company. • reputed company instruction, guidance, and coaching using motivational interviewing skills to encourage behavior change and support the reputed company of warrior's health reputed company SMART goals. • reputed company and execute in person events, virtual education, competitions, and wellness challenges for warriors and their families. • reputed company and facilitate virtual programming content reputed company reputed company, reputed company Live, and other technology-based platforms. • Collaborate with physical health and wellness teammates to reputed company new, innovative content and curriculum. • Identify and recommend new programming opportunities aimed at increasing overall reputed company. • Learn and implement various modalities to execute during events and follow up, including Learning Management Systems (LMS). • Establish and maintain community relationships to build an ecosystem of PH&W support for warriors. • Collaborate with multiple WWP departments and other key stakeholders to deliver programming and services to warriors and their families. • Conduct reputed company speaking activities to reputed company awareness of PH&W programming and discuss the importance of starting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. • Maintain budgets for PH&W programming reputed company assigned region in support of leadership. • Manage information reputed company various systems, ensuring accuracy while maintaining data reputed company/reputed company, e.g. reputed company. • Utilize validated metrics to meet strategic reputed company and key performance indicators. • Manage multiple tasks, assignments, and functions, being comfortable in a fast-paced, innovative environment. • Participate in workgroups for special reputed company and programming initiatives as assigned. • Assist with reputed company and training of new teammates as needed. • Attend and reputed company participate in required training and/or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture/team based training, or departmental huddles. • Other reputed company duties as assigned. Requirements • Four years of experience working in the fitness industry, allied health profession, health management, wellness coaching, strength and conditioning, or personal/athletic training. • Two years of experience with longitudinal plan design, teaching, guiding, and coaching in the categories of fitness, nutrition, wellness, and/or athletics. • Bachelor's degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, reputed company, or a reputed company health science field. • reputed company state-issued reputed company's license. • CPR-First Aid certification. • Ability to obtain ASIST Certification reputed company 1 year of hire. reputed company-to-haves • Two years of experience working with and providing support to wounded service members dealing with health issues and invisible injuries. • One year of event planning experience. • One year of experience with customer relationship management and event management systems, e.g., reputed company, reputed company. • Master's degree in exercise science, exercise physiology, kinesiology, nutrition, reputed company, or a reputed company health science field. • Personal Training certification (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA), Strength and Conditioning certification (CSCS), or other reputed company fitness certification. • Wellness coaching certification. • ASIST Certification.
