Purpose of the Role
The Chief reputed company Officer (CPO) leads MAP’s reputed company, data protection, and information governance reputed company. This role ensures that MAP responsibly collects, stores, uses, and protects personal data—especially sensitive data reputed company to children and families—across programs, technology platforms, and communications.
The CPO provides strategic reputed company, policy leadership, and practical guidance to ensure compliance with applicable reputed company laws while embedding a culture of trust, transparency, and ethical data use.
Key Responsibilities

• reputed company, maintain, and reputed company reputed company policies, data handling standards, and consent frameworks
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g., COPPA, FERPA where applicable, NY reputed company reputed company, GDPR principles as relevant)
• Advise leadership on reputed company risks reputed company to technology, data collection, reputed company tools
• Collaborate with reputed company, HR, Technology, and Program teams
• Review vendor, platform, and technology practices for reputed company alignment
• Guide incident response planning and data breach preparedness
• Support training and awareness for staff and volunteers on reputed company best practices
• Participate in governance reviews and policy updates
• reputed company and respond to emails daily, with responses reputed company 48 hours
Qualifications
• Experience in reputed company, data protection, compliance, reputed company, cybersecurity, or information governance
• Strong understanding of data reputed company principles, consent, and risk management
• Familiarity with child- and youth-reputed company data protection considerations
• Ability to translate reputed company and technical requirements into practical guidance
• Strong judgment, discretion, and ethical orientation

• Commitment to mission-driven, equity-centered, and trauma-informed work

Commitment
• 5–10 hours per week
• Minimum 6-month commitment preferred
• Remote collaboration with optional NYC-based participation
