Values Based Food Procurement Consultant
Job Description:
• Create food procurement pledge to drive hospital progress on values-based food procurement and food associated greenhouse gas emission reduction.
• Research, review communications plan and conduct research (qualitative, quantitative) focused on impact purchasing frameworks.
• Conduct interviews or focus groups with hospitals and other pertinent stakeholders.
• Conduct research with aligned producers to understand challenges and opportunities related to product availability.
• Compile recommendations and create concepts for a health care food procurement pledge.
Requirements:
• Qualitative and quantitative research, data collection and analysis, data visualization (e.g.Tableau), SWOT/PESTLE analysis, project management, strategic communications development.
• Understand audience analysis, user experience, and user interface and human centered design principles.
• Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and strategies to non-designers and stakeholders.
• Have an eye for detail to ensure high-quality, error-free design work and a proven ability to carry a project from concept to completion.
• Experience collaborating across different sectors, and/or workstyles.
• Experience within food systems, institutional clients and/or food producers preferred.
• Experience working on communications materials for diverse cultures and audiences utilizing a DEIBJ lens.
