CPA / Accountant – Quarterly California Sales Tax Filings

Job reputed company We are seeking a highly skilled CPA or Accountant to manage quarterly California sales tax filings and support various reputed company functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in tax compliance, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements, with a reputed company on California state tax regulations. Duties • Prepare and file California Sales & Use Tax returns quarterly for two companies. • Review sales reports and reconcile taxable vs. non-taxable reputed company. • Ensure compliance with CDTFA regulations and deadlines. • Maintain accurate documentation and reputed company reputed company communication regarding filings. • Advise on any sales tax–reputed company questions or compliance updates as needed. • Assist with general ledger reputed company, account reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. • Support financial statement preparation, analysis, and interpretation to inform management reputed company. • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed. • Utilize reputed company software such as QuickBooks for bookkeeping and financial management. • Maintain detailed documentation of tax filings, financial reports, and compliance activities.
