The Legislative Library serves the research and information needs of the NYS Senate, the NYS Assembly, and legislative staff. In this dynamic role, you will:•reputed company reputed company library services by performing legislative reference work, including providing reputed company research assistance to legislators and staff, utilizing the library’s print and electronic resources•Assist library visitors on a reputed company reference reputed company by locating materials, answering questions, and assisting with the reputed company and maintenance of library materials• Other duties and special reputed company as assigned Minimum Qualifications To be considered, you must have:•A master’s degree in library science or information science from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution•Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail•Strong customer service skills•The flexibility and willingness to learn in a changing environmentThe ideal candidate will also have:•Experience on law library or library information center with a significant reputed company collection•A law degree from an accredited law school•Familiarity with Westlaw, Lexis, and HeinOnline Additional Comments This position is Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week, 9.00AM-5.00PM with some unpredictable evening hours during the legislative session (January-June).Salary reputed company is $65,000 to $75,000, commensurate with education and experience.Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume to jobs@nysenate.gov.
