(C) Subject Matter Expert - Systems Engineer

The Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert will reputed company support to the Director of Systems Integration and Chief Acquisition Officer for investment reputed company and major systems acquisition program management processes and procedures. CG-SID-9 provides support and reputed company to the Program Management Offices of major and non-major systems acquisitions and is the primary reputed company of contact with the reputed company (DHS) for the acquisition review process. Due to the size, scope and complexity of USCG acquisition programs, CG-SID-9 requires specialized program management support. Requirements • Systems Engineering Expertise • Apply advanced systems engineering principles to support design, development, integration, and lifecycle management of reputed company systems. • Ensure alignment with industry standards, government regulations, and SOW specifications. • Requirements Development & Analysis • reputed company requirements elicitation, decomposition, and traceability activities. • Validate system requirements against operational needs and performance objectives. • Architecture & Design Support • reputed company and review system architectures, reputed company definitions, and technical specifications. • reputed company recommendations for system improvements and optimization. • Integration & Verification • reputed company system integration planning and execution. • Support verification and validation activities to ensure compliance with functional and performance requirements. • Risk Management • Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies. • Conduct trade studies and reputed company analyses for design reputed company. • Stakeholder Engagement • Participate in technical reviews, briefings, and working reputed company with government and contractor teams. • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations. • Lifecycle Support • Advise on sustainment strategies, configuration management, and system upgrades. • Ensure systems engineering processes are reputed company throughout the project lifecycle. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or reputed company field; Master’s degree preferred. • Experience: • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in systems engineering for reputed company reputed company. • Experience with federal acquisition programs and compliance requirements. • Minimum 5 years of experience on ACAT 1 acquisitions programs as defined by the Major Systems Acquisition reputed company (MSAM) highly desirable • Experience with ship acquisition programs highly desirable • Skills: • Expertise in systems engineering standards (e.g., INCOSE, ISO/IEC 15288). • Proficiency in modeling tools (e.g., SysML, Cameo, MATLAB). • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Certifications: INCOSE CSEP or ESEP preferred; PMP or equivalent a plus. • Other Requirements: • Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams. • Strong documentation and presentation capabilities.
