Intern, Industrial Design Spring 2025

About the position The Intern, Industrial Design position at Kohler Co. offers a unique opportunity for students or recent graduates to engage in the development of innovative kitchen and bath products. This hybrid internship will allow participants to contribute to design projects, collaborate with experienced designers, and gain hands-on experience in a creative environment focused on sustainability and quality. Responsibilities • Participate in problem-solving exercises with the Industrial Design staff and/or project teams. • Contribute in concept development through sketching, CAID, and construction of mockups. • Assist designers with model making. • Assist in presentation preparation which will include mounting of drawings/renderings and construction of presentation stands. Requirements • Junior, Senior, Master's level, or recent graduate (within 1 year) from an accredited school or college of industrial design. • Academic emphasis on product industrial design, working towards Bachelor or Master of Fine Arts, Bachelor or Master of Arts, or Bachelor or Master of Science. • Course work on graphic design is helpful. • Relevant work experience in industrial design, graphic design, engineering, or architecture is helpful.
