Job Description: Title: MS Access (SQL & VB) Consultant Work Location: Sacramento, CA Duration: SHORT-TERM Project (2-6 weeks) Need GC and USC Top Skills: • Expert with the last 2-3 versions of MS Access - Must understand the difference between the versions and be able to convert applications written in older versions to newer versions • Expert in Visual Basic for MS Access • Expert in SQL stored procedures (SQL Server 2008) • Candidate must be onsite, no remote work available. They have 5 Access based applications that are written in VB. • Access can be used for a simple database tool or you can use it as a full on application interface, that's what they've done in the past. • As such, we need an expert in Access and VB to do some minor work, we need to migrate them. • They will give them access to the environment so they have access to the systems they need and know where everything is, access to business users once changes are made. • They aren't rewriting code, just migrating the code.
