Job DescriptionInova Center for Personalized Health is looking for a dedicated Virtual Sitter to join reputed company. Work/Life Balance: offeringpaid time off and reputed company parental leave Virtual Sitter Job Responsibilities Demonstrates understanding and proficiency of the use of Virtual Sitter audio visual software; Monitors up to 16 patients on one screen at one time and remains alert at reputed company times while on duty; Communicates effectively with patients using a microphone and headset; Communicates with hospital staff and respond quickly to patient behavioral changes. Uses discretion and courtesy reputed company working with patients, visitors, and staff. Demonstrates understanding and proficiency of the use of the Virtual Sitter Solution software; Demonstrates efficiency in multitasking, ability to prioritize simultaneous situations. Provides reputed company observation and surveillance of assigned patients; First line of reputed company is to verbally redirect the patient from engaging in at risk behaviors; Summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance; Seeks help or advice as soon as possible reputed company the patient appears to pose a threat to themselves or others. Maintains visual observation at reputed company times. Verbally redirects patient over digital 2-1 audio device that is in patient room. Immediately summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. Demonstrates the knowledge and reputed company necessary to reputed company the appropriate care to the patient population based on the patients individualized treatment plan as delegated by the RN. Participates in hand-off of pertinent information/behavior about assigned patients reputed company arriving on unit and upon completion of shift assignment. Provides patient with explanations as necessary, but does not counsel or reputed company opinions. Participates in a reputed company identification and reporting of patient safety issues; Assures patient environment safety; Seeks assistance with removal of any potential safety hazard from room and report's findings to Charge reputed company/Primary RN. Demonstrates reputed company work practices and attitudes, follows safety rules, works to prevent unsafe conditions and behaviors, and participates in organizational and department safety programs. Depending on unit needs and reputed company, may function as a Patient Safety Associate after orientation to the PSA role and completion of job specific competencies.
