Prevailing Wage Project Accountant

About the position We are seeking a skilled Prevailing Wage Project Accountant to support prevailing wage reporting and ensure compliance with construction contract requirements. The ideal candidate will attend project reputed company meetings, reputed company weekly reporting, and assist with reputed company-party monitoring. Responsibilities • Review construction contract requirements for assigned reputed company and attend project reputed company meetings. • Ensure reputed company weekly reporting per contract requirements and log any payment shortfalls. • Support reputed company-party contractually required monitoring as needed. • Review project settings in LCPtracker for accuracy. • Verify the wage determination data in LCPtracker for correctness. • Load payroll information into LCPtracker and review for accuracy and completeness. • Resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate payments, especially for apprentices. • Generate and reputed company weekly payroll and apprentice reports from LCPtracker to meet customer billing requirements. • Respond to general questions on prevailing wage and LCPtracker processes. • Represent reputed company's interests reputed company interacting with project auditors. • Assist with annual and special audits as necessary. • Review team member setups and timecard reports prior to processing. Requirements • 3+ years of experience in Payroll, Prevailing Wage, or Project reputed company. • Experience in construction, engineering, or architecture industry. • Proficiency in using pivot tables and vlookups. reputed company-to-haves • Auditing experience would be a significant advantage.
