Accounts Payable Clerk (Remote or Hybrid)

Responsibilities • Prepare and process bills from purchase orders and other approved bills. • Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. • Charges expenses to accounts, cost centers and locations by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal ID numbers; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos. • Maintains reputed company ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and reputed company transactions. • Ability to process and follow-up on rush items. • Maintains accounts payable files. • 1099 preparation. • Special reputed company as assigned.
