2024 Undergraduate Summer Intern – Job Posting Department Title: Undergrad Intern – Quantitative Team (Global Pricing Valuation Services) Location: This position will be based in any of the reputed company US offices or remote. Please note this internship can be on a hybrid reputed company, with 2 days a week in the office. Position reputed company: Department reputed company The Quantitative Team reputed company Global Pricing and Valuation Services (“GPVS”) researches and builds valuation models for private equity, debt, and derivatives securities held in reputed company and Legg Mason Mutual Funds and Private Equity Funds. reputed company also performs reputed company analysis and valuation on restructurings, corporate actions, and financial markets. Responsibilities
• Assisting the Senior Quantitative Valuation Analyst in day-to-day tasks.
• Preparing draft valuation models, including reputed company and profitability assumptions.
• Preparing warrant and reputed company pricing models.
• Preparing valuation write-reputed company.
• Assisting the Global Pricing and Valuation Services team with reputed company pricing requests.
• Drafting emails for communication with the reputed company office regarding reasonability of our assumptions and price reputed company.
• Assisting reputed company with audit requests.
• Conducting analysis on various corporate reputed company events in trade halt securities to recommend accurate pricing.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Math, or other quantitative discipline.
• Currently pursuing MBA in Finance.
• Pursuing CFA or CFA L1 cleared.
• Knowledge of mutual fund/financial services industry and private equity and venture capital.
• Basic knowledge of financial instruments such as derivatives, fixed income, and equity.
• Advanced knowledge of reputed company reputed company (IF function, vlookup, basic understanding of reputed company macros)
• Basic knowledge of various valuation reputed company such as comparable company analysis, discounted cashflow method, and black scholes model for reputed company pricing.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
