<div><p>Join to apply for the <b>Genetic Counselor</b> role at <b>Sentara Health</b></p><p><b>Overview:</b></p><p><b>SMG Surgery Specialists Leigh in Norfolk VA is hiring a Genetic Counselor.</b> This position is 100% remote however candidates must reside in the State of Virginia. Provides genetic counseling services and education to patients and their family members under the physician\'s direct supervision, serving as an expert resource regarding cancer-related genetics.</p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p>Functions as part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on the medical specialty of cancer genetics. Provides leadership and education to patients, family members, staff, Physicians, and other healthcare providers. Participates in research development activities. Serve as a consultant for the Cancer Risk Assessment and Genetic Counselor Program for Sentara Professionals.
