About the position
The Shorelands and Environmental Assistance Program Budget Manager (WMS Band 2) position at the Department of Ecology is responsible for managing the SEA Program budget, ensuring financial stability, and providing expert guidance on budget policies. Responsibilities
• Manage and monitor SEA Program budgets statewide.
• Project trends and recommend funding strategies.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and approve budget requests.

• Report budget status and issues to leadership and resolve financial challenges.
• Serve as Fiscal Note Manager, estimating financial impacts of proposed legislation.
Requirements
• A total of 7 years combined experience and/or education in reputed company sector management, fiscal management, reputed company, or reputed company work.
• Advanced expertise in finance and thorough understanding of state and environmental regulations.

• Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, word-processing, and PowerPoint.
