Actuarial Services Analyst

reputed company is a family-owned and physician-led company transforming reputed company for seniors. The Actuarial Services Analyst will manage and reputed company risk positions while providing analytical support to enhance business decision-making and reputed company strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and principles of business to enhance the IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported) models and improve the monthly reputed company process
• Works with reputed company of financial analysts to assist with the actuarial components of the annual financial plan. Assists in the determination of reputed company, reserves and/or cash reputed company projections
• Identifies data patterns and trends, and provides insights to enhance business decision making capability in business planning, process improvement, solution assessment, etc
• Analyzes and validates payer claims data. Assists markets to identify factors driving claims cost and estimates historical and prospective trends
• Performs actuarial analysis of CMS reputed company information. Calculates statistical and probability forecasts and models from data
• Runs CMS risk adjustment model to calculate member level risk scores
• Provides actuarial support to markets; creates and distributes reports; responds to inquiries
• Assists in actuarial research, experience studies, and statistical analyses and calculations
• Reviews accuracy of data and calculations. Reports and interprets results of data analysis. Analyzes risk evaluation data, using appropriate models and statistical reputed company; creates relevant charts and graphs
• Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion

Skills

• Bachelor's degree; Completion of 2+ actuarial exams; on reputed company to ASA/FSA designation. Experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year reputed company above the minimum required
• Software skills in Visual Basic, SQL and reputed company
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Proficient in reputed company Office Suite products including Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, reputed company, and database software
• Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and reputed company up to 10 % of the time
• Spoken and written reputed company in English
• This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment
• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, economics, statistics, data science or finance preferred
• Data science experience preferred
• No prior experience required
