E-Billing Specialist
Tucker Ellis LLP is seeking an experienced E-Billing Specialist to join their team in the Cleveland office. This role will focus on managing electronic billing platforms, ensuring accurate and timely invoice submissions, and working closely with attorneys, clients, and finance personnel to resolve billing issues.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit invoices through various e-billing platforms, ensuring compliance with client billing guidelines and requirements
- Monitor invoice status, address rejections, and troubleshoot technical or compliance-related issues
- Review time entries for accuracy, LEDES formatting, UTBMS task codes, and narrative requirements
- Serve as a primary point of contact for attorneys, clients, and vendors regarding e-billing questions and billing adjustments
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation in the firm’s billing systems
- Assist with month-end and year-end billing processes and reporting
Skills
- Minimum of one year of legal billing or e-billing experience; law firm is required
- Strong understanding of electronic billing systems (e.g., Legal Tracker, CounselLink, Collaborati, BillingPoint, etc.)
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Aderant or other legal billing software
