Functional Registered Dietitian: General Health & Wellness

Curis Functional Health is a rapidly expanding company recognized in the Inc. 5000, seeking a highly motivated Registered Dietitian to join their multidisciplinary team. The role involves conducting nutrition assessments, providing medical nutrition therapy, and collaborating with other health professionals to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments of clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide evidence-based nutrition interventions, including individual and group nutrition sessions
• Employ a holistic approach to your client’s overall health, integrating physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors into treatment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical doctors, chiropractors, therapists, and other dietitians to ensure coordinated care
• Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Educate clients on nutrition interventions to prevent, treat, reverse, or manage medical and mental health symptoms as it relates to their nutrition care plan
• Stay current with best practices in nutrition treatment and integrate new approaches into your practice
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or related field; Master's degree preferred
• Current Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential
• Current Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) status in Texas
• Passion to learn functional medicine principles and a holistic approach to nutrition care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
• Experience with diverse populations and a commitment to cultural competence
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
• Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Integrative and Functional Nutrition Certified Practitioner (IFNCP)
• DUTCH provider
• Certified LEAP therapist (CLT)
