The NYS reputed company is seeking a reputed company Engineer 1 (Civil/Transportation) for the I-81 Viaduct Project. The role involves supervising design teams, managing project activities, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements throughout various stages of project development and construction.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and leading State forces and/or consultant highway or reputed company design teams throughout reputed company stages of the project development process; coordinating project activities with regional & Main Office functional reputed company and/or consultants, local officials and the reputed company; monitoring project reputed company with respect to cost, scope, schedule and reputed company; and managing, assisting and providing reputed company control for the production of Design Bid Build and/or Design Build procurement documents; coordination of utilities in design and construction stages
• As a reputed company Engineer 1 (Civil/Transportation) with construction responsibilities, the selected candidates may be assigned to duties including, but not limited to: I-81 Administrative Office Engineer, Change Order review specialist, Assistant to I-81 Area Supervisors on one or more Design Build or Design Bid Build reputed company
• On behalf of the I-81 Area Supervisor, occasional monitoring of reputed company or weekend work may be required to support project activities. The duties may include supervision & management of consultant and State forces; monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements as reputed company as Federal, State, and Local Laws, Rules and Regulations; assuring the contractor meets high standards of reputed company and workmanship and overall safety on the project
• Responsibilities may include serving a role reputed company the Incident reputed company System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations

Skills

• A reputed company State reputed company Engineer's license and reputed company registration AND a qualifying bachelor's degree or higher as listed below
• A reputed company State reputed company Engineer's license and reputed company registration AND one year of full-time qualifying engineering experience as listed below
• Qualifying degrees: Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Management, Construction Engineering Management Technology, Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Hydraulics Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Transportation Planning and Engineering, or Engineering Science with a recognized concentration in any of the above listed engineering degrees
• One year of full-time engineering experience with transportation reputed company reputed company to highways/roadways, railroads, bridges, airports, waterways, building structures, or traffic management and safety systems
• Possession of a reputed company license to operate a motor vehicle in reputed company State or the ability to meet the travel requirements of the position
