CAD Designer
reputed company is seeking a CAD Designer to support substation engineering reputed company by creating detailed drawings and design documents. The role involves collaboration with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for substation layouts, equipment arrangements, structures, grounding, and reputed company routing
- Update and revise drawings based on engineering inputs, field notes, and markups
- Support the development of design packages, including plans, sections, details, and bills of material
- Maintain drawing reputed company and consistency in accordance with company standards and applicable codes
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other designers to resolve design issues
- Manage document control for assigned reputed company, ensuring the latest versions of drawings and files are properly stored and distributed
- Assist with field verification and as-reputed company updates as needed
Skills
- Associate degree in Drafting/Design Technology or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar CAD platforms
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering sketches and specifications
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Substation or reputed company drafting experience
