Seasonal Tax Administrator (Denver, CO)
Mercer Advisors is a leading financial services firm that has been helping families manage their financial lives for over 40 years. They are seeking a Seasonal Tax Administrator to provide support to the tax team during the busy tax season, assisting with various processes and ensuring data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with various tax-season processes including assembling/scanning/archiving data, logging in tax returns, preparing internal forms, preparing pre-tax-season files, e-filing, processing of tax files after mailing, and delivering returns
- Accurately inputting tax data into technology systems including tax software and transcribing confidential client correspondence
- Coordinating and communicating with tax advisors, managers, and other team members to perform job functions
- Maintaining data integrity across all systems, confirming data and making updates, and preparing reports
- Other general administrative duties as needed
Skills
- High school diploma required
- Attention to detail and ability to take initiative to meet deadlines
- Strong communications skills (written/verbal) and professionalism
- Ability to work independently and remain flexible as priorities change
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, detail-oriented
- Able to navigate a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
