[Remote] Strategy & Operations Software Generalist

They are seeking a Strategy & Operations Software Generalist to build and maintain internal tools, streamline operations, and support engineering initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain internal tools, automation systems, and software solutions across the organization
- Develop scripts and applications to streamline operations and eliminate manual processes
- Support engineering initiatives and ad-hoc technical projects for leadership
- Design and implement data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting systems
- Integrate and optimize third-party tools and APIs across business functions
- Contribute to infrastructure automation and DevOps workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Work closely with leadership to execute on technical priorities
- Write clean, maintainable code for internal tools and automation projects
- Manage multiple concurrent software projects with a high degree of autonomy
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver solutions
- Debug and optimize existing systems and processes
- Continuously identify opportunities to solve problems through software and automation

- Fluidstack is looking for someone who can 'hit the ground running' and take full ownership of their work. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment
- 1-4 years of experience in a fast-paced, generalist operations or consulting role, ideally at a startup or scale-up
- Engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics
- Experience with programming, scripting or statistical packages (e.g. Python, R, Matlab, SQL)
- Track record of shipping projects independently in fast-paced environments
- Interest in or exposure to the tech/AI industry preferred but not required
