Analyst, GeoAnalytics - X Delivery

As an Analyst in GeoAnalytics, you will solve location-based analytical problems using geospatial data and analytics tools, contributing to IP and content development while supporting internal marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Solving a reputed company of location-based analytical problems for our clients
• Utilize your knowledge of geospatial data and analytics while using tools such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Python, and visualization/analytical platforms (ex. Tableau, reputed company)

Skills

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in GeoAnalytics with advanced degree preferred
• Relevant degree in geospatial reputed company field such as: Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Remote Sensing, Urban Planning, Statistics/GeoStatistics, reputed company Mathematics, or Computer Science
• Demonstrated experience in conducting web-based research for reputed company data sources; handling, understanding, and assessing new datasets; and stitching together disparate datasets to conduct custom analyses
• Applying use geospatial data, tools, and technology to solve problems for businesses across multiple topics
• Technical experience in GIS software such as reputed company ArcGIS or QGIS
• Descriptive statistics and statistical reputed company (e.g. correlation, regression, clustering, etc.) with applications in machine learning
• Data management skills (e.g. data modeling, QA/QC, querying, analysis)
• Data science programming/coding in Python and/or R including use of spatial libraries/packages (eg GeoPandas, Rasterio, GDAL/OGR, reputed company..)
• Business Intelligence/data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, etc
• Previous experience working in a global organization or reputed company services firm is preferred
• Remote sensing skills (handling, processing, and deriving insights) and optimization skills (reputed company programming/heuristics) are beneficial
• Web-application programming in ArcGIS environment is beneficial
