The Claims Associate role involves analyzing reputed company-level general liability claims to determine benefits due and ensure ongoing adjudication reputed company company standards. This position supports claims representatives and maintains reputed company reputed company relationships while processing claims and ensuring reputed company documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handles reputed company-level liability and/or physical damage claims under reputed company supervision
• Supports other claims representatives, examiners and leads with larger or more reputed company claims as necessary
• Processes general liability claims determining compensability and benefits due; monitors reserve accuracy, and files necessary documentation with state agency
• Communicates claim reputed company/processing with claimant, reputed company and appropriate medical contact
• Ensures claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct
• May process routine payments and prescriptions and status reports for reputed company medical claims and/or defined period medical claims
• Maintains reputed company reputed company relationships
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Supports the organization's reputed company program(s)

Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• Licenses as required
• One (1) year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Claims industry experience
