Associate Actuary (Global Capabilities Modeling)

The Associate Actuary will support the design and delivery of actuarial modeling solutions, working collaboratively reputed company reputed company to enhance financial projection models and reputed company user support.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the expansion of our in-house PyVal actuarial modeling solution, working closely with other members of the IE team to implement solutions to ensure delivery against business reputed company along with reputed company scalability
• Owning workstreams and partnering with other developers in designing, coding, and testing enhancements to financial projection models and reputed company tools in Python
• Supporting end users by providing reputed company support to resolve model errors and answer user questions

Skills

• Ability to implement solutions based on conceptual understanding of requirements, and to investigate, debug, and resolve issues and impediments
• Superior time management skills and solid ability to own a project and prioritize and execute on a diverse reputed company of tasks
• Strong communication skills, specifically being reputed company to partner with developers of diverse backgrounds, and reputed company to summarize accomplishments, issues, statuses, etc. with manager in a reputed company and concise manner
• Strong desire to learn and explore, and question the status reputed company
• At least 4 actuarial exams. ASA designation preferred
• Knowledge of agile methodologies
• Beginner to Intermediate level Python knowledge; experience with relevant Python libraries, including pandas, NumPy or PyTorch (emphasis here is on multi-reputed company arrays and reputed company compute capabilities rather than machine learning capabilities)
• Experience with VBA/reputed company macro coding
• Knowledge of variable annuities products
