Personal Injury Case Coordinator
Torticity is a pioneering company in legal technology, revolutionizing the personal injury law sector. They are seeking a Personal Injury Case Coordinator to manage intake, handle inquiries, and support Case Managers by ensuring accurate data entry and communication with claimants.
Responsibilities
- Field incoming calls and messages related to personal injury claims; answer inquiries or escalate to Case Managers
- Open new leads in the case management system and input relevant claimant information
- Collect police reports, review liability, and communicate findings to Case Managers
- Initiate insurance claims and distribute Letters of Representation
- Organize and forward claimant documents to appropriate Case Managers
- Maintain ongoing communication with claimants via phone, email, and text
- Update case statuses and sub-statuses based on new information
- Classify and document case files accurately
- Provide administrative support to Case Managers, including ad-hoc requests
- Perform data entry and maintain databases with accuracy and compliance
Skills
- Minimum 1 years in a personal injury-related role (law firm or bodily injury claims adjusting)
- Knowledge of insurance claims processes, liability review, and dispute handling
- Strong phone communication skills; comfortable with extended call times
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA compliance standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and adaptability to new web-based programs
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- High level of professionalism when handling sensitive information
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
