[Remote] Farm Broker
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Farmland Stock Exchange is a company focused on farmland transactions and is looking for part-time brokers to build a real estate business while maintaining their current job. The role involves making cold calls, scheduling farm visits, and building a pipeline for future listings, with support provided for startup costs and training.
Responsibilities
- Make cold calls during the day (lunch hour, 6-8pm)
- Schedule farm visits on weekends
- Build your pipeline while keeping your paycheck
- Close 3-5 deals = $60K-$120K in commissions
- Drive to properties, walk land with owners
- Kitchen table meetings, build relationships
- Follow up on active prospects
- Create 2-3 qualified leads per week
Skills
- Willing to grind for 6-12 months to build a pipeline
- Can commit 10-20 hours/week (evenings + weekends)
- Comfortable on the phone and meeting people in-person
- Want a path to $250K+ within 24 months
- Love the Midwest, respect agriculture, want to work with farmers
- Knows the value of hard work, not looking for shortcuts
- Wants to build wealth, not just make a paycheck
- Currently working in ag-adjacent field (equipment sales, lending, insurance, grain marketing)
- Has sales/business development experience and wants into real estate
- Lives in/near farming communities (Central Illinois preferred)
