[Remote] Call Center Agent, BAR
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RemoteHunter is connecting candidates with a call center agent role supporting the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) program. The role involves providing information and assistance regarding air quality programs and scheduling consumer appointments.
Responsibilities
- Provide information on various Air Quality Programs, including Smog Check Referee, Parts Locator Service, and the Enhanced Fleet Modernization Program
- Maintain current knowledge of all air quality programs to ensure accurate consumer communication
- Triage inbound calls and schedule consumer appointments based on needs
- Assist consumers in determining program eligibility
- Verify and enter data into the web-scheduler database
- Place outbound calls to remind consumers of appointments
- Enter consumer application data into the program database and assist with application completion
Skills
- Ability to receive, screen, and schedule consumer appointments by phone
- Ability to assess consumer eligibility using screening methods
- Good judgment and effectiveness in collaborating with a technical team
- Proficiency with database software and office equipment
- Quick learner willing to seek assistance when needed
- Knowledge of air quality program structures
- Knowledge of current customer service principles and practices
