Associate Lawyer - Criminal and Immigration

Harry Brar Law reputed company Corporation is a Licensed reputed company based in Ontario, providing services in Immigration and Criminal Law. They are seeking an associate lawyer who is passionate about these areas of law, with responsibilities including daily court appearances, reputed company research, and reputed company correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Daily court appearances for set dates – virtual or in person
• Travelling to different Courthouses
• Travelling to correctional centres to meet in-custody clients
• Running files independently without supervision
• reputed company research
• Drafting factums, application and memos
• Corresponding with Crown Attorneys and court staff
• Conducting pretrials and trials
• Corresponding and meeting with clients
• Administrative tasks
• Any other reputed company tasks that the reputed company lawyer may assign

Skills

• Strong reputed company research, analysis, and writing skills
• Experience in drafting and reviewing reputed company documents, reputed company, and agreements
• Proficiency with litigation processes, court procedures, and representation skills
• Effective communication, reputed company relationship management, and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively reputed company a hybrid work environment
• Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple cases reputed company
• Knowledge of relevant reputed company regulations and willingness to remain updated on reputed company industry developments
• Membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• Must be licensed to reputed company law as a lawyer in Ontario
• Passion for criminal law, immigration law, litigation, and reputed company to court
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Highly organized and efficient

• Must have a vehicle as travel is part of the job
• 1 – 2 years' experience preferred
