Business Analyst, Sales Technology
Gartner is a leading company that guides enterprise leaders with expert analysis and bold ideas. The Business Analyst, Sales Technology will define and deliver the conference technology roadmap by partnering with cross-functional teams, documenting business requirements, and driving project execution.
Responsibilities
- Partnering closely with the Product Owner(s) on one or more products to write high quality user stories explaining business problems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive projects and business process improvements
- Documenting a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for the business
- Performing GAP analysis of business rules, and system process flows
- Streamlining process of reporting system related issues
- Translating business & technology strategies into detailed requirements and deliverables
- Interacting with conference attendees and Gartner associates to troubleshoot challenges remotely and onsite at conferences globally
Skills
- 1-3 years of business analysis and project management experience
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities: Able to solve complex problems, thinking creatively, and using data to tell a story
- Drive / Passion: You are passionate about the experience and delivering uncompromising quality. Self-motivated & accountable, with a high level of commitment to responsibility
- Communication skills: You're an excellent verbal and written communicator capable of eliciting client and stakeholder feedback and documenting clear requirements
- Leadership: You've demonstrated a proven track record of driving continuous product improvements ranging from bug fixes to new features and deliverables. Action-oriented and driven to achieve results and build trust with both business partners and internal developers
- Influence: You must demonstrate a high level of collaboration and strong negotiation skills
- Organization skills: Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
- Bachelor's degree
- Willing to travel up to 3-5 times a year to support the seamless execution of in-person conferences
- Experience with Salesforce and sales process optimization
