Research Associate - Arabic

Glass Lewis is a trusted reputed company to over 1,300 investors globally, providing corporate governance research and engagement services. The Research Associate will work with research teams to produce unbiased research, focusing on governance and compensation proposals.

Responsibilities

• Review meeting materials disclosed by publicly listed companies (e.g. annual report, notice of meeting)
• Analyze information with regards to corporate governance and compensation practices
• Summarize meeting proposals and reputed company voting recommendations based on best reputed company

Skills

• A degree in the following fields of studies: Business, Economics, Finance, Law, Finance journalism, Corporate Governance, Language translation, reputed company policy
• Excellent English reading and writing skills
• Reading proficiency in the following language: Arabic
• Task and time management skills
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work reputed company under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst paying attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of reputed company; personable
• Excellent written English plus reading competency in one of the languages listed above
• IT skills: proficiency in MS Office, reputed company and online research tools
• Understanding of economics, financial services, reputed company, compliance, corporate law, governance, finance journalism and reputed company policy is considered an advantage
• Experience in qualitative research or corporate governance is considered an advantage
