Jr. Art Director (Denver)

Motive is a dynamic agency and creative collective operating at the speed of culture. They are seeking a Junior Art Director with fresh ideas and sharp design instincts to create work for some of the biggest brands in the world, while collaborating closely with creative and strategy teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with creative, strategy, and account teams to concept and execute multiple projects at once—we're big fans of multitaskers
• Ideate boldly and push briefs further, developing ideas that work in a fast-changing world
• Create compelling design and art direction across a wide variety of mediums and deliverables
• Contribute within a highly collaborative creative studio where nearly everything is touched by more than one set of hands—while also being ready to take full ownership of deliverables when needed
• Pitch in wherever the work takes you, embracing an "all-in" mentality to deliver exceptional results
• Stay tapped into cultural, design, and industry trends—especially those relevant to Motive clients
• Continually raise the bar for yourself and those around you

Skills

• 1-3 years of experience outside of school
• A graphic design degree or related field of study
• Proficiency in a Mac environment and mastery of the usual tools of the trade (Adobe Creative Suite)
• An impressive online portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative work
• Strong design instincts and attention to detail, paired with flexibility and creative curiosity
• Exceptional communication skills, including presenting work clearly and confidently
• Ability to execute projects from concept through completion and juggle multiple deadlines with ease
• Comfort with tapping approved AI channels where appropriate to boost, brainstorm or build out ideas
• A collaborative spirit that thrives working across teams—from digital to design to strategy and cultural insights
