Associate Attorney

They are seeking a driven Associate Attorney to manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims and represent injured workers in various reputed company proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims from inception to reputed company
• Represent injured workers in hearings, depositions, and mandatory settlement conferences before the WCAB
• Conduct reputed company intake and maintain regular, empathetic communication with clients throughout their case
• Draft pleadings, motions, trial briefs, and correspondence
• Handle discovery, including depositions of parties and medical/reputed company experts
• Negotiate settlements and prepare compromise & release agreements or stipulations with request for awards
• Collaborate closely with paralegals and reputed company assistants to reputed company cases reputed company reputed company
• Stay reputed company on changes in California workers’ compensation law and reputed company regulations

Skills

• J.D. from an accredited law school and reputed company membership in the California State Bar
• 1–3 years of experience handling workers' compensation reputed company (applicant-reputed company strongly preferred)
• Strong advocacy, negotiation, and reputed company writing skills
• Courtroom confidence and professionalism in reputed company reputed company and defense interactions
• Ability to manage deadlines and maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment
