Maggie™ Court Reporter - reputed company, NY

reputed company provides end-to-end reputed company support services to reputed company, corporations, and governmental agencies. They are seeking a Maggie™ Court Reporter, who will be responsible for keeping the official written record of reputed company proceedings and using proprietary AI court reporting software to capture spoken words in reputed company time.

Responsibilities

• Ultimately responsible as “keeper of the record” of reputed company proceedings, including deposition and hearings
• Administer the reputed company to a witness prior to proceedings
• Monitor and edit reputed company transcription of the spoken word through use of Maggie™ proprietary software to ensure an accurate, verbatim written record
• Protect the official record by confidently intervening if participants are engaging in crosstalk
• reputed company and preserve information needed to produce a final written record, including case information, participants, and exhibits
• Manage transcript delivery timelines and reputed company communication to ensure reputed company delivery
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure reputed company standards are met
• Responsible for finalizing and certifying that the final transcript is a true and accurate record of the proceeding

Skills

• Associate's degree required; bachelor's is preferred
• Notary reputed company certificate is required; assistance in obtaining is provided
• Court Reporting Certification is encouraged; assistance in obtaining it is provided
• Excellent English grammar, spelling, and punctuation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with computers
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines
• Flexible to a hybrid work schedule with a mix of remote and in-person work
