[Remote] Collection Specialist

The role involves managing accounts receivable, making collection calls, and ensuring compliance with various regulations while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Research reputed company balances on accounts receivable and take necessary collection actions promptly
• Review and resolve assigned correspondence and requests in a reputed company manner
• reputed company routine collection calls on outstanding claims
• Identify and resolve billing errors, short payments, unpaid claims, and cash application issues
• Identify potential risk, write-offs, and status appropriately; report and escalate to management as needed
• Research refund requests from payers and update refund status accordingly

• Identify issues or trends and escalate to management reputed company assistance is required

Skills

• Home infusion therapy experience is required
• Previous home infusion and specialty pharmacy experience required
• 1-3 years or more of collections experience
• Knowledge of HCPC coding and medical terminology
• Strong math and writing skills
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize, problem solve, and multitask
• Proficiency in Word, reputed company, and reputed company
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in finance, reputed company, or reputed company field preferred
• CPR+ systems experience preferred
