Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our Specialty Mail Order Pharmacy team. As a remote worker based in Pennsylvania, you will provide telephone support to patients receiving life-sustaining specialty drug therapy. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders, including verifying and revivifying benefits.
  • Assist patients with translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system.
  • Communicate and collect copay amounts, obtain authorizations, and work with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal teams to screen, identify, resolve, and defer orders with accounts receivable or clinical issues.
  • Demonstrate superb communication skills to effectively interact with insurance companies, patients, and internal partners, ensuring timely processing of specialty medications and meeting financial and clinical expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex customer issues and provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least one year of experience in a customer service role, handling and resolving complex customer needs over the phone.
  • One year of work experience with Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Office, internet navigation, and email applications.
  • One year of computer keyboarding experience, with strong skills and aptitude.
  • A verifiable high school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Healthcare work experience and familiarity with benefits, insurance, prescriptions, and medical terminology.

Compensation and Benefits
