Experienced QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper (U.S.-Based | Long-Term)

We are seeking a reliable, high-integrity freelance Bookkeeper with deep experience using QuickBooks Online (QBO) to support two professional service businesses on an ongoing, part-time basis. This is a long-term remote position for a U.S.-based independent contractor who personally performs the work (no subcontracting, no AI). You’ll be working closely with a business owner who values precision, clear communication, and timely financial records. Key Responsibilities • Categorize and enter business expenses in QuickBooks Online • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts using provided CSV files • Generate monthly Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports • Support two business entities with three bank accounts total • Securely share files via Dropbox and/or CPA’s secure upload system • Communicate via Voxer and Zoom • Optional: collaborate with CPA as needed Requirements • 6+ years of hands-on QBO experience • Must be based in the United States (Midwest preferred) • Personally complete all work (no outsourcing) • No use of AI tools for financial entry or categorization • Confidential, high-integrity, and deadline-focused • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Traits • Experience supporting small businesses, consultants, or solopreneurs • Professional, pleasant, and organized • Able to take initiative while working independently Time Commitment • Part-time monthly: ~estimate: 2 hours/week (8 hours/month) Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
