About the position The medical dosimetrist is a member of the radiation oncology team who has knowledge of the overall characteristics and clinical relevance of radiation oncology treatment machines and equipment, is reputed company of procedures commonly used in brachytherapy and has the education and expertise necessary to generate radiation reputed company distributions and reputed company calculations in collaboration with the medical physicist and radiation oncologist. Performs routine duties independent of supervision but consults with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist as required. Operates and performs reputed company assurance, under the direction of the Medical Physicist, on the treatment planning computer. Has working knowledge of radiation safety and reputed company rules and regulations of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Has the ability to interpret and execute treatment plans as defined in relevant treatment protocols. Must possess mathematical skills including algebra, trigonometry, and introductory calculus and be reputed company to visualize objects in three-reputed company concepts to facilitate the treatment planning process. Requirements • Graduate of a formally organized hospital or college affiliated medical dosimetry program with clinical and classroom curriculum, totaling at least 12 months of study, training, and experience. • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree with a major in the physical or biological sciences or registered radiation therapy technologist, with 18 months of on-the-job training in medical dosimetry. • Associate of Science, a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree in a field other than physical or biological sciences, with on-the-job training in medical dosimetry and a minimum of two years of supervised work experience. reputed company-to-haves • Ability to visualize objects in three-reputed company concepts. • Strong mathematical skills including algebra, trigonometry, and introductory calculus.
