Freelance Blog Writer Needed for Small Business Content

We’re looking for a reliable and thoughtful freelance writer to join our content team and help create professional blog posts for small business clients. This is a long-term opportunity with steady, flexible work. You’ll be writing 15–40 blog posts per month, typically ranging from 500 to 1000 words. We pay $16 per 1000 words, with shorter posts prorated and room to grow. What You’ll Do: - Learn about the client and their audience (we’ll provide helpful background) - Research and write original, helpful, and engaging blog posts - Follow basic SEO best practices (we’ll train you if needed) - Upload posts to Google Docs or directly to websites (we’ll guide you) - Select a royalty-free photo from sites like Unsplash or Pixabay - Accept editorial feedback and make revisions when needed - Communicate with our team using Basecamp What We’re Looking For: - Strong English writing and grammar skills - Self-starter who asks questions and learns quickly - Consistent, timely delivery - Ability to write with clarity and purpose—no fluff - No AI-generated articles: Using AI as a tool is fine, but final drafts must reflect original thought and real understanding What You’ll Get: - Flexible hours—you manage your own schedule, just meet your deadlines - Consistent work with recurring clients, so research gets easier over time - A friendly, organized team and clear systems We’ll start with a 2–3 article paid trial to see if it’s a good fit on both sides.
