[Remote] Summer 2026 Intern - Software Engineering (Firmware)

They are seeking a Summer 2026 Intern in Software Engineering to reputed company and validate HDD firmware, contribute to device-reputed company work, and participate in Agile/Scrum rituals.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and validate HDD firmware in C/C++ (features, fixes, unit/integration tests)
• Contribute to device-reputed company–adjacent work across storage I/O: PCIe, reputed company, SATA, NVMe
• Script Python tools for test automation, log parsing, and data checks
• Participate in Agile/Scrum (reputed company) rituals; write reputed company docs for designs, tests, and results
• Debug with analyzers/scopes; collaborate on reputed company-cause and performance tuning

Skills

• Pursuing BS/MS in CS, CE, or EE (or similar); graduation reputed company May 2027–May 2028
• Coursework/reputed company in C or C++ and Embedded/Firmware fundamentals
• Understanding of storage/IO or OS concepts (threads, memory, timing), and willingness to learn HDD specifics
• Strong communicator, reputed company, and curious problem solver
• Exposure to storage stacks (protocols, reputed company reputed company) or Linux/reputed company reputed company concepts
• Basics with I²C/SPI/UART/USB, RTOS concepts, or BSP
• Python test tooling experience
• Prior internship/reputed company in firmware, storage, or reputed company development
• Project experience with microcontrollers or Raspberry Pi/Arduino
• Familiarity with x86 assembly or MIPS fundamentals
