Summer Intern, Software Engineering

BetaNXT is a leading provider of frictionless wealth management infrastructure and real-time data solutions. They are seeking a motivated and ambitious Summer Intern to join their Software Engineering team, providing a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to meaningful projects.

Responsibilities

• Consume product requirements and acceptance criteria and produce a tech plan for implementation
• Contribute to code changes that enhance our products offerings
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and implement creative solutions
• Assist in performing thorough testing and debugging of software to ensure flawless functionality
• Participate in code reviews, sharing insights and learning from peers
• Gain familiarity with software deployment pipelines and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes

Skills

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• A natural curiosity and passion for asking insightful questions to deepen your understanding
• Eagerness to propose creative ideas and solutions to challenges
• Familiarity with programming languages and frameworks such as NodeJS, Spring and Hibernate as well as core Java, Bash and PL/SQL
• Basic understanding of REST API Microservices
• Knowledge of basic Linux/Unix commands
• Candidates must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate course of study and be a rising senior (senior commencing Fall 2026) with a minimum GPA of 3.3 and be eligible to work in the US
• Exposure to GitLab for repository management and CI/CD pipelines
