IBM is a global leader in technology and consulting, and they are seeking an AI-Centric Solution Architect Intern for their Entry Level Sales Program 2026. The role involves designing and delivering architectural solutions, focusing on AI and related areas, while collaborating with Engineers to create reusable materials.

Responsibilities

• Help design and delivery required material to feed into this process
• Provide blueprint material highlighting repeatable architectural solutions
• Ensure that what we produce covers AI, Agentic AI for products and its role in future deliverables across not only our Automation Portfolio of products but encompasses other related areas like Data, Sustainability and Security
• Work with Engineers to help feed information into the process
• Develop a ‘library’ of reusable material in the form of whitepapers, assets and accelerators

Skills

• Background (courses or work experience) in LLM AI models and platforms (e.g. watsonx.ai)
• Background (courses or work experience) with conversational and agentic AI
• Background (courses or work experience) with software development (Java)
• Good communication and writing skills
• Ability to understand customer requirements and pain points and ability to apply AI to best address them
• Skills with Data Science and traditional AI/ML modeling evaluation (classification, regression)
• Understanding of AI Governance
• Experience in solution architectures
