Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing timely solutions to ensure customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls and chats, responding to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Determine customer needs and provide appropriate solutions, including answering general questions, resolving complex issues, and offering alternatives or compromises when necessary
  • Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve customer complaints, issues, or concerns, and escalate issues to senior team members or other departments as needed
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including sales, purchasing, and operations staff, to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience
  • Utilize various computer programs and systems, including multiple screens, to access customer information, resolve issues, and document interactions
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics, including quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction targets, and participate in ongoing training and coaching to improve skills and knowledge

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Strong typing skills, with a minimum of 30 words per minute
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and split days off

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills
  • Experience working in a global or multicultural environment
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms, online ordering, and delivery systems
  • Certification in customer service, such as the Online Business Customer Service Specialist Certification
  • Experience with conflict resolution, negotiation, and de-escalation techniques
