**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to provide exceptional customer service and support
* Processing policyholder requests from correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and efficient manner
* Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Maintaining department standards for number of calls, average handle time, and time management to ensure optimal performance
* Providing excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills to effectively resolve customer inquiries and issues
* Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
* Demonstrating strong alpha and number recognition skills, as well as mathematical abilities, to accurately process customer requests
* Utilizing basic PC skills to navigate our systems and tools efficiently
* Handling high-stress situations calmly and with tact and professionalism to provide a positive customer experience
* Making logical conclusions and decisions to resolve customer issues and improve customer satisfaction
**Requirements**
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* A high school diploma or equivalent, with some college preferred
* At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience a plus
* A strong background in life and health insurance, with knowledge of insurance operations desired
* Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
* Strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions
* Regular and predictable attendance required

* Heavy phone and PC usage
* Sitting for extended periods of time
* Frequently reaching above shoulder level
