Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative role at arenaflex is a unique opportunity to interact directly with patients, influencing generic utilization, therapy changes, and providing education and support. This position requires a high level of independence and self-directed performance, working collaboratively as part of a larger team. The primary focus is on communicating the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapies to patients, with the goal of providing overall savings and enhancing patient outcomes. This role will work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications, ensuring that patients receive the most appropriate and cost-effective care.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with patients to influence generic utilization and therapy changes, ensuring that they understand the benefits and any potential impacts on their health care.
- Conduct adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients are staying on their medications and remaining adherent to their therapies, which is critical for their health outcomes and overall well-being.
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers, proactively gathering patient and order information to resolve queries and issues efficiently.
- Work closely with the Specialty Projects Team to identify opportunities for generic conversions or therapy changes, collaborating to implement these changes in a way that prioritizes patient care and satisfaction.
- Provide customer education on medications, health care, and reimbursement-related requirements, ensuring that patients have the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health care.
- Assess patient needs and identify problems, escalating issues to a pharmacist when necessary to ensure that patients receive the appropriate level of care and support.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, with a focus on handling and resolving customer needs over the phone.
- 6 months of high-volume customer service experience, preferably in a Windows or Microsoft environment, or a similar application.
- A verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Residency in the state of Nevada, as this role is specifically designed to support patients in this region.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, with a pay range of $17.00 - $28.45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, this role is eligible for a bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program, providing opportunities for financial growth and recognition.
