Job Overview

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Financial Accounting Analyst who will be an outstanding addition to our team. Key Responsibilities

• Aid in the maintenance of general ledgers and the month-end close cycle connected with corporate accounting, including the preparation and review of journal entries for intercompany disposals, intercompany allocations, and related party transactions
• Prepare and review reconciliations for key accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis and perform variance analyses
• Monitor intercompany accounts, address any out-of-balance issues, and work with intercompany payments
• Track related party transactions throughout the fiscal year and perform valuation analyses to determine whether related party transactions are at arm's length
• Collaborate with the Financial Planning, Legal, and other groups within Controllership to obtain necessary supporting documentation
• Work directly with the Manager, Financial Accounting - Corporate on ad-hoc management initiatives
• Aid in the preparation of arenaflex's financial statements through the preparation of financial schedules and footnotes
• Research technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memoranda to document changes in accounting treatment
• Assist in managing internal and external audits by working with requests and preparing status meetings

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• 3 years of accounting experience
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP
• High-level working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Remarkable organizational skills, attention to detail, and a high need to keep learning
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
• Team-oriented perspective with a positive attitude

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

• A combination of public and private work experience
• Experience in SAP
• Entertainment or technology industry experience
• CPA license
