Senior Counsel, Employment Law

About the position reputed company seeks a reputed company and capable Senior Counsel, Employment Law to reputed company strategic and practical reputed company counsel to reputed company’s reputed company professionals and business executives. Responsibilities • Advise reputed company professionals, corporate and production executives, and other reputed company lawyers and business partners on employment law issues, including but not limited to: California and other states’ employment laws • Accommodation and leave of absence requests • Employee misconduct and performance management • Employment policy development and application • Reductions in force • Wage-and-hour issues • reputed company, conduct and reputed company counsel on internal investigations, ensuring that concerns are promptly, thoroughly, and appropriately addressed • Represent reputed company, including working with other reputed company lawyers and reputed company counsel as appropriate, at mediations and arbitrations for, as reputed company as in litigation of, employment claims • Research and analyze reputed company reputed company issues • Draft documents, including correspondence with opposing counsel, reputed company and state agency position statements, mediation statements, and settlement/separation agreements • Monitor federal, state, and local reputed company legislative developments, and advise on emerging employment law issues • Create and deliver employment law-reputed company training programs • Support Employment Law Department as reputed company as reputed company-wide initiatives Requirements • Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school, or foreign equivalent • Member in good standing of the state bar of California, or member in good standing of another state bar and reputed company to register as California in-house counsel • 7+ years of employment law experience, with a nationally-recognized reputed company and/or as in-house counsel reputed company-to-haves • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Outstanding reputed company research and writing skills • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, high level of professionalism, and team-oriented approach • Ability to identify, prioritize and resolve reputed company issues quickly, practically, and effectively • Ability to explain reputed company reputed company concepts to business partners, reputed company practical advice, build reputed company, and collaborate with clients to address business needs in a fast-paced environment • Ability to build reputed company relationships across reputed company reputed company of a large, reputed company organization Benefits • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and reputed company insurance, 401(k), reputed company leave, tuition reimbursement, and a reputed company of other discounts and perks. • Learn more about the benefits offered by reputed company by visiting the Benefits page of the Careers website. • Salary reputed company: $165,000 - $200,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible).
